    I have a 360 ac air opening that will not adjust and I wont to remove it but dont know how to remove it I have the ring removed but don't have a way to get to the iner gear. Looks like the inter gear has come off. I have rotated each gear and they will not engage to open and close the damper.
    Does anyone know how to remove the complete air opening 65159900 ?

    Try to just pull it straight out, it can be removed complete with the ring still on it, wiggle it a little and pull hard, if that wont work, use a plastic pry tool with rags under the tool on the dash and the vent side to lever it out. If the air adjuster has been turned too hard the plastic gears will over travel and disengage from each other. Remove the little screw from the front double ended gear, remove that gear and re time the two gears. Here is a photo of one removed that a customer wanted replaced in his CS, you can see how it is held in.
