anyone have a problem with the 430's AC? I suddenly have no cold air. Of course it's been hot as hell in southern california and I just got back in town after not driving the car for 3 weeks!! It was not a nice welcome home surprise.

May have sprung a small leak.

Should be simple to fix, hopefully.

if the compressor is bad expect to pay at least $2300 for a new one. I did on my 360. Cross your fingers ;)

    I would bet it's a fuse!

Car is too new for a compressor issue, and it can be rebuilt for whole lot less than $2,300.00!

    It's a Japanese made compressor!

They will fix it for you. I am assuming it is still under warranty too. :):)

I have almost 21,000 miles as of today. I love the car more than the day I bought it. Oh yeah, I still haven't brought it in for the AC issue, been really busy.

As a matter of fact it has been very warm here in Calif.

IM SO PISSED OFF!!!!! It was the compressor that needed replacing.....It was working great after the repair BUT........after a week of wonderful cool AC it stopped working when I was driving in 96 degree heat!! Im not happy right now.
I will bring it back in to the shop on Monday and hopefully it will get fixed CORRECTLY this time!

    Not cool! :p:p

What was wrong with the old compressor Ape?? Did they tell you why they replaced it? :D:D

They probably pinched an oring when they fitted the new compressor and all the gas has leaked out which is why your a/c has stopped working again.:rolleyes:

    I think Pap's correct.

If they replaced the compressor an o-ring may have been pinched or improperly seated and it leaked all the R134a.

    Expensive mistake for them!

However, the good side is that this week it is to start cooling off a bit. So that should ease the pain!
