Hello has anyone had any experience with AC repairs? My 458 is blowing only slightly cool air. Warranty is long gone so I'm hoping this is an easy fix. 2011 with only 8500 miles. Ferrari dealer is several hours away and I'm praying an AC shop cant just recharge.
    Thoughts Folks?

It's impossible to diagnose over the internet. It will never "just" need a recharge if you want it fixed properly. For it to need a recharge, the refrigerant was lost through a leak (unless the car is very old and only needs a recharge every 15 or 20 yrs, then it may be "normal"). I'm not sure if there are any common faults to the A/C of the 458, but I can tell you that it's not a common issue. I only know one person, out of dozens of owners, that had an issue on the 458 and it wound up being a bad hose. If I remember, it cost around $2K because the whole frunk tub had to come out to access it.
Good luck, please follow up with solution if found.
