    Should all three round AC vents on the dash of a 328 turn freely? The middle and right vents of my 328 turn very easily, but the left vent won't move. Not sure if it's just stuck, or if that's the way they were made.

    If it's stuck, any good ideas of how to get it loose without breaking the vent?

    My 88 328 is just like yours, so I assume that they came that way.

    They all should turn freely. My center one would not and I just sprayed a bit of WD 40 around the edge and worked my fingernail under it and VOILA, they all turn easily now. The sticking is caused by folks who put whatever sort of dash vinyl/leather cleaner on and let it get down between the vent and the yinyl/leather, causing it to act like glue.

    My left hand one was stuck but found that it was wedged in between the vinyl.I removed the centre bit and gently but forceably moved it and it freed up
