In the process of adding garage bays and driveway changes for a 575M and a DB7.
The driveway will slope down out of the garage and then slope up to the street.
Does anyone know what kind of pitch change I should plan on so I don't rub parts of the undercarriage every time I go for a drive?
    Thanks for thoughts and help.

the angle of the driveway surface is not as big of a concern as the transitions from flat to sloped. A gentle transition is always best. find yourself a driveway approach somewhere and measure the angle of the approach and how close it comes to the bottom of the spoiler. This should give you some idea.

I also have some reasonable gradients to negotiate but I have not had any scrapes yet.

I had some concerns before I picked up my car but happily, even though the wheel base is quite long, the ground clearance between the wheels (breakover/ramp anlge) is surprisingly high (my 575M is Euro FHP spec but my 986 is RoW standard spec andthe lifiting points are approx 2cm lower so I have to drive up onto a board to use my trolley jack with hockey puck on the P but no such issues with the F).

Your issue may be appoach angle though but if you already have the cars, you could make your own empirical measurements with a thin sheet of board slid under the nose and chocked up against the front wheels.

P.S. I note that the fabled race ramps have a 10.78 degreee approach angle (directly in front of the wheels at least)!

I had the same problem when i lived in my old historic house in Richmond.

The historical society would not let me mess with the slope of my driveway.

    there is an easy solution:

I bought a couple ramps from a farm store down the road for less than $200 bucks made of aluminum.

they are similar to the things you see for loading ATVs on trucks, but you need to check the weight capacity.

very easy to carry to the end of your drive and saves the bump scrape.

Check out any farm store or web site, they are cheap, light, and easier than messing with re doing driveways.
