I need to access the A/C knobs from below. Cheers.
Yes, you can remove the front part of the console without removing the center console. Simply remove the screws that attach it to the floor lift it out. I removed mine (79 GTB) yesterday along with the center console. I should also note that I had the entire interior removed including the dash prior to removing the console. Therefore, there may be some additional removal issue not mentioned (with the interior in place). Cheers, Alan
On my 77 308 GTB you can remove the two screws in the ash try and lift that entire knob section up without any damage. It uses the back end of that panel to slide under and secure itself. Tim
