Any recommendations for accident repair in the UK?

Yesterday I was hit by a motorcycle - his fault, admitted plus three witnesses. I have a smashed headlamp, destroyed bumper and heavily severely damaged bonnet.

This is on a 19 reg Portofino, which was previously immaculate - and protected with PPF.

I'd like truck collection/delivery, perfect factory approved repair and PPF reinstating. Not sure what the deal is with a courtesy car - would it just be a joke where they give you a normal car?

    Thanks in advance!

for that age I would be speaking to a main dealer.

whilst you want it fixed, you want compensation for loss of value; which will not be insignificant

Is compensation for loss of value a thing?
I have got an equivalent replacement car coming, and it will be fully repaired by a Ferrari body shop (HR owen)

yes, absolutely. check your policy. if not included you will have to seek £ yourself. hrowen should be able to assist in valuation. a recorded damage will affect resale a fair chunk.

Thanks, that’s great. I’ve contacted the insurance company to get the discussion rolling.

the other bummer is the fact my premium will go up, even though it wasn’t my fault!

NO need to use your insurance, just contact the other persons insurance and they will deal with it all once the person admits it, then tell your own insurance to cancel the claim, they should just make a note of it and it should make no difference to your premium.

Insist it goes to Chartwells Derby, this is the only place I would take it to, Factory approved and do a great job and very helpful, if your carbon splitter is damaged, that cannot be repaired, if the insurance are paying. It might be a reflection?
