Hey Darth, I've tried to keep up, but I think I've failed the mission. I'm not sure I have all the facts and I'm not stating my opinion means anything. In one thread, it made ref. to a charitable donation by Peter. Was this his money or others that he collected? I don't understand what it was for and why it was in fchats name. I will say this, on several posts, before this whole issue, I thought Peter was aggressive. I only bring this up so maybe he will see from an unbiased perspective on how he presents. I don't know if he cares but the info is for him. Also, as for Rob...... As soon as Rob made the "esp. the xxxx thread" comment, I understood it to be a friendly way to diffuse the issue. I hadn't seen the thread but I was sure he was being sarcastic. Though, I do think sometimes Rob can be too "short" / quick for his own benefit and that type of behavior comes across as unprofessional as the "CEO" of this board. Maybe he is tired... maybe he doesn't give a ****.....I have no idea. But, this info is for Rob and is meant as constructive criticism. He should understand his reactions are going to be scrutinized by many "customers" because he is the person of authority. We have all learned from and enjoyed many aspects of this site. That is much to the credit of Rob as well as its members. It is with the growth of both that it will continue to meet or exceed all our expectations. So, Darth, to answer your question............. I can't answer in this specific instance.
This is the perfect example of why you are no longer a moderator, no longer a consultant, and close to no longer being a user. I make a sincere thread for the improvement of FerrariChat.com and all you can do is attack me. Why don't you just leave on your own? It is obvious you aren't one of the positive members of the community anymore.
The check Pete wrote was entirely his money, in the name of another..... TRULY CHARITABLE by definition! Truth be told...if you are asking a membership for money, you MUST be prepared for the level of accountability (to those same members) that comes from taking it. .......or don't expect it in the first place.

Absolutely, positively DEAD NUTS ACCURATE. It's JUST the Internet. Nobody, except Rob, is "higher" on the totem pole here than any other user, IMO. Therein lies the problem that leads to the animosity.
I would even argue everyone is equal, even me. Actually, I'm at the bottom of the hole getting the crap beat out of me by the pounding totem pole.
Just found these threads. I think that everyone needs a time out. A lot of nice people are getting upset over essentially nothing. Rob is probably overworked and distraught, having realized that the business he created is the only one in the world that the workers get to attack the owner on a regular basis. Working for penauts and getting trashed can wear on you, even if the user thinks that Rob deserved it (I'm not commenting on the validity of any such comments, just making a point). Point is, a great site, with great people and everyone is getting a little crazy. No need to implode, stay cool over this. I speak from experience. Time heals all. Art
