For the sake of this thread, we are talking Mondial's of all model years that are in the top 20% as it pertains to overall condition with recent full engine services performed or more (i.e.: new paint, suspension, interior, etc., etc.).

This is simply 'Your $.02' based on prices seen and condition of the more well-kept examples.

    Ok, I'll play
    Mondial "excellent" examples:
    8: 39k
    3.0: 45k
    3.2 65k+ and rising
    T: 75k+ and rising
Of course, the dogs with cosmetic issues and deferred maintenance will drag down average values for each model. But, as values go up, we will see more of these lower echelon cars purchased and revived once it makes economic sense to do so, just like what has happened with the Boxers and Testarosas.

(No, I would not sell my 3.2 right now for $65k!)

$65K on the 3.2 for a Coupe or both Cab and Coupe?

I think sales price depends on the market, just like when they were sold new, coupes will sell better in Europe. Cabrioles will sell better in the US. But the Mondial T coupe in the US is an oddball since so few were imported. They usually command a higher price

Same with my '88 3.2 coupe, what, 47 came into North America that year? Wonder how many are still on the road!

I think your 3.2 and T numbers are high. I follow the T market very closely. Our friends at BaT now allow you to adjust their graphs. I just left this one as '89 and up, T's only, but you can even say convertibles only. I believe that blip at $80,000 was a coupe, and that one around $140,000 was some sub-500 mile example.

So I would say a nice T cabriolet is about $63,000 with a recent service. And I see the market as flat, or in slight decline.

But, this graph is asking prices or actual transaction prices?

The solid dots are transaction prices. The open dots are high bids at auctions.

I think you are in Europe and I do notice asking prices are higher here, but it is not always clear whether or not they include VAT. Prices on BaT are before any taxes, and before buyer's commission which is 5%.

Go here and you can tweak it yourself:

I think opinions on this thread are going to vary depending on whether you are a buyer, seller, observer or simply an owner who does or doesn't want to sell their car.
If you're a buyer, you think prices are high, if you're a seller, you think prices are low, if you're a looker and have no intention of buying, then in my opinion, your opinion doesn't really hold any water.
When I bought my car 9 years ago, I knew what I wanted and I had a feeling that values were going to go up and I should buy now, I bought the best one I could find and paid a high price at the time, now I'm happy that I bought what I did when I did make the purchase.
The other question to ask is would you sell your car for these prices? I guess it depends on your satisfaction with ownership and your financial position, a lot of variables here, so unless you want to identify yourself as an owner, buyer, seller, or observer, or simply someone who wants to spread their opinion on the interwebs, I think there's too many variables to place a value on we think in this thread.

I agree with these numbers if you take 5-8K off of all of them.

OK, take the $5K ~ $8K off and the numbers are still decent. Seems like Mondial's are trying to catch up to 308's. Maybe the $5K number covers what BAT takes, they seem to be benchmarking prices today..........Yes? No?

I think auctions can be hit and miss, if you don't have two people with the money that really want a nice car, you won't get top dollar for it, I used to buy and train yearling thoroughbreds, when I took them back to the auction as 2-year-olds, I was always hoping there were two guys there with money that wanted my horse. If that happened I did pretty well. If not I did, well, just okay.
In addition to mileage, service history and condition, the other variable is: Is the car "complete?" Does it include all the accessories?: Correct toolkit, jack kit, blah blah blah. I have everything for my car! And if I considered selling it, I would add at least another 10K to the price for those items.

The biggest problem is what others have said here, the range is just so wide.

So it's hard to pin down to just 'one' overall number per model with such a wide range.

But if forced, just general back of napkin, 60,50,40,30 +/- 5

So, what have I done during 21 years of ownership (I’m 73)? AC gone. Cabin air temp sensor gone. Aluminum radiator. All water lines removed and replaced except line from heater to radiator return. All fuel lines replaced and improved. Fuse box updated and SRI “hot wires” managed separately. New accumulator. Rebuilt fuel distributor. Transmission maintenance. Gas tanks replaced. All chassis suspension bushings replaced. Shocks rebuilt at manufacturer’s LA location. Dashboard electrical gremlins fixed (mostly). Original body, original paint and fabric conv. top (plastic is quite nice surprisingly). Brakes overhauled. New proper tires on 348 wheels. Superformance English standard size Cromodora set on-hand with proper lugs. Tonneau flat full cockpit cover with big brass zipper. Driver’s seat refurbished. New, period correct radio and antenna.

Next up - addressing the unwanted heat in the car as discussed elsewhere. Then - “time for a major.” [$$$]

When we talk about these cars the spectrum of what owners have done is unbelievably wide - as was said above.

I’m just laying out some of the details to help illustrate what we are talking about. SG

Thanks! Original paint. One of the two previous owners add a nicely executed clear coat. I’ve owned the car for 22 years.
