I have a 1969 Bulova Accutron that may need a "tune up".

Can anyone here recommend a reliable repair facility?

    THANKS, Bob Z.

Mine has the Accutron caliber 214 movement (set by a handle on the back).
I use 394 batteries. These are 1.55V, a slightly higher voltage than the
mercury batteries that were originally used with these watches. I had the
electronics in the watch modified slightly to be compatible with the 394
battery. This is a common procedure that any experienced Accutron shop
should be familiar with. See http://www.accutron214.com/AccutronBattery.htm

For closeup pics of the inside of these watches and to appreciate how they work, see

    These are cool devices.
