Has anyone used the GM CCM rotors with their 458 rotor hats? My understanding is the rotor blanks themselves are the same item, only the GM part is far cheaper (~$1.2k per corner for GM). If this is considered okay, is there any documentation anywhere on the process of properly attaching the 458 rotor hat to the rotor blank?

Well this is new...I'm all ears if this is an actual option. I have often wondered if this would work. Also..no reason why a hat couldn't be made to work either. Massive savings to be had here..

Aftermarket sellers have been using the 394 mm Corvette transforms to replace the Brembo 398 mm CCMs for quite a while.

Are there any known issues doing this? Is there any documentation on how to attach the 458 rotor hats to the GM rotor blanks (torque specs, tightening sequences, anything else)?
