    I carried a battery inside my trunk for a bit and the thing tipped over. Spilled a little bit of acid into the trunk (not on the carpet). I left the trunk wide open for a few hours but still smell acid. Is there something I can put inside the trunk to neutralize the vapor?

    I'd start off with something mildly alkaline like baking soda.
