    Hello everyone,

I am thinking of adding the scuderia's front bumper on my f430 spider.

I think that it is much nicer than the original and would make the car look more aggresive.
What do you think ? is it worth it ?

Does anyone know where can i find one to buy ?

    i found this: http://aerowerke.com/products.asp?id=118

    also a video of an f430 "scuderia" : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Shswl0sJhpw

I would be glad to hear your opinion.

    Thanks.

I'm still remotely interested in some scud parts, too. Send me info, too.

I'm interested in the scud front bumper as well. Maybe we can get a group buy Piper? hahaha I kid. Serious about the bumper though.

Man, if could get any kind of reliable guarantees on fit, I'd do it. I acually did some research on a group buy for this a few months ago. Where I left off on that was one guy in Europe with a couple OEM bumpers, most expensive and couldn't guarantee they would fit. We had a supplier in China that was least expensive with a couple of "try it you like it" referrals, a couple more in between, also with no guarantees. The fact seems to be that whatever we do, fit will be a problem and there's a very good chance we could drop $3-4k for a lower end alternative and end up with an imperfect fit and color match. Seems the only safe call on that item is to buy it, have it painted and installed by Ferrari. How do you feel about a $4k bet? If I get it, paint it, alter it, and it doesn't look right, they ain't takin' it back and I'm not leaving it on my car.

Thanks for doing the research. Isn't there anyone on here that has tried it? In terms of fitment, what are the issues that you're concerned with? The brackets not lining up? Or it not matching at the edges? Or something else? No supplier wants to step up? How hard can it be to make a bumper cover???

Did you take a look at the viz one? 6k. Where are the 3-4k ones you're looking at? I read on another post that oem is ~30k! Geez!
