A car I'm looking to buy doesn't come with shields. I can see some "sticker" ones on eBay. I know this is probably heresy but I'm considering these as possibly safer to retro fit than metal shields? Am I wrong to assume this and are metal shields easy to fit (stickable?)

I have applied the "faux" metal shields to my car and the sit at the same height as the factory. The only way you can tell is to walk up on the car and check for the indention in the fender. They have never come off.

Its your car if you wanna add them after a purchase do it.

I would only use Yoshi shields- this was discussed many times on here- the Yoshi shields are excellent, very precise details vs. factory. He even has different curvature angles for the 360 vs. 550 vs. other models, etc. I don't know what anything on ebay is but Yoshi has been used successfully by many of us F-chatters. I put them on my car within a day or so of getting my car- awesome!
