This may not be possible and it’s not that bad on my car- but I would like to close up the gap between the front bumper and the nose of the car. This gap circled in white below. I’ve removed the fog lights, turn signals, and grill and loosened the bolts that appear to hold the bumper in place. But it won’t budge. I’ve seen that it’s possible as a guy on BaT did it to his a while back. See before and after pics of his car below. Any one have any experience with this? Thanks!

I've not messed around with a 328 front bumper, but I found this picture online and there doesn't appear to be a lot of adjustability in the mounts themselves:

My guess is for each one of those mount points, you'd need to slot the holes and move the clip on U nuts a bit to allow a bit more movement prior to tightening things up.

Look at the first photo, to the right of the circled horizontal gap, the vertical gap is very close. Raising the bumper from it's current position will close that gap to zero in short order. You would have to move the bumper in at the same time as raising it to keep the vertical gap from closing. Food for thought.

If you narrow the upper gap aren't you going to widen the lower belt strip gap?

the holes that I see there are actually the holes for the bolts that hold the turn signals/fog lights in. The mounts for the bumper itself are behind the upper part of the bumper.

you’re exactly right but there is a bigger gap on the opposite side of the bumper there so the bumper could move over a tiny bit which would allow it to move up.

Yes I was wondering that too but was hoping if someone else had done this to theirs they would know if that would happen and, if so, how to remedy it. Pics look like there was no issue with on the BaT pics where the other guy did it.

Again, this might not be possible or worth it to do, but thought I would put it out there to see if anyone else had experience.
