I almost bought it for ~$60.00, but someone gave me their '2nd copy'. I love LR3, works wonders and you don't need to do much to get good results.

 

It is, you can go to a campus and buy it if you can use a student ID, you'll have to fill out paperwork either way.

Lightroom 3 is brilliant; it's pretty much the only editing software I use now and I swear by it. You can download a free 30 day full trial on adobe's website.
