    Anyone else pick up a copy of Ed Niles new book "Adventures in Ferrari Land"? That's my former 328 pictured as Ed's last Ferrari. Unfortunately for some reason it did not make it on the list of Ferrari's that he owned. I would have liked that as it lists the previous owner.

    Interesting… my car has an Ed Niles connection, but I doubt it gets a mention in the book as it's not one he ever owned.

    I don’t know why it would not have been included. But your car is featured pretty prominently in the book, so that must please you.

    It would surprise me if it was! My car is a 1975 Dino 308 GT4, but would have been dark green at the time Ed had anything to do with it. The story I was told was this…

    The fourth owner, Fred, was not a "car guy" at all. However, he was apparently good friends with Ed Niles and, in 1989, Ed convinced him to buy a 1975 Dino 308 GT4. The car, 10388, was green with tan interior and supposedly Ed also convinced Fred to paint the car red. So, in June, 1989, it was painted red. During the painting (or very soon thereafter) the rear header had a hole blown in it. Instead of fixing the car, Fred parked it in a garage until the fifth owner bought it.

    The fifth owner, Jim, bought it in May, 2014 (so it sat for 25 years untouched). It was reportedly Ed who connected Jim with Fred to make the sale. The I bought the car from Jim in October, 2021.

    Ed owned over 125 Ferraris and was active on FChat before he passed. Seemed worthy of mention. (Especially since I sold him his last Ferrari)

    Ed and i traded many Ferrari items, books from his library, cool ties from the events he attended, and just "stories"....
    I have his Pit pass from Daytona 1967....

    I appreciate the notification of his memoirs..
