I'm looking to purchase my first Ferrari, preferably a late 1960's-early 1970's 12 cylinder model under $100k. The major catch seems to be what, if anything, can someone 6'5" tall fit in reasonably well ? Unfortunately, there aren't too many in North Florida for me to easily check out.

Any advice would be appreciated. So far, I've heard a 365 gtc/4 or 365 GT 2+2 might be possible?

    Thank You !

I'm 6' 1" and I've never had a problem. Part of it is height from hips to top of head. If your height is in your legs you'll have less of a problem. I'd find a dealer with a varied selection and try some out. It will help if you recline the seat back and learn the straight arm/bent knees position. Seat forward as much as possible/seat way reclined. You can also help yourself by lowering seat which is no big deal and even putting a "Gurney Bubble" on a midengined TR for example.

    Good Luck

I'm about 6'3" and have no problem in my 330 2+2. I think most 2+2 12s will work though you might have to get a 'tall man kit' which extends the seat rails.

    Good Luck,

I'm 6'4" and I could wear a hat in my 365 2+2. I think most of the 60s road cars would be fine-- I've driven a Daytona and sat in a C/4, and I don't recall bumping my head in either of them.

I'm 6'4'' with a long torso and I fit fine in my 330 GT. Hat wearing room in 60's 2+2s!

6'5" / 250 lbs- 365GT 2+2, I did extend the seat rails about 2" and if I put it back all of the way it's too much for around town stuff. It's great for the longer highway stints, allows you to vary between a number of positions.
