am thinking of going to miami and maybe the keys for a little r/r.

it has been a couple years since i have been there, and things have likely evolved....so what restaurants, clubs etc would you all recommend for miami, south beach, key west etc.

    thanks

I was in the Keys this weekend for the 7 Mile Bridge run. We only made it as far as Marathon. They are still pretty tore up from Irma. We had a couple decent meals, nothing spectacular.

What type of Food do you want? IMO Stubborn Seed is the best restaurant in miami beach right now, the $125/person tasting menu is prob the best meal you'll ever eat but you need 2 hours for it all. Otherwise the usual best of the best restaurants: Joe's,Milos, Upland,Prime 112, Forte Dei Marmi,Il Mulino are all within the same 2 block stretch with Stubborn Seed.

If you want overpriced, mediocre food with the best view in town go to Juvia

this is what i was looking for.
i also like carpaccio over at the bal harbor mall - good value and a nice view on the parking lot.
from your list, i have only been to Joe's, so will try these others.
    thanks !

I’m a big fan of Prime 112 , Il Mulino and Milos.
Ross, if you need help with a reservation at Prime 112 let me know because it’s almost impossible.
My brother lives across the street at the Continuum and is the house attorney for Prime. Best , Kirk.

A&B Lobster House on Front St in Key West has some pretty good seafood.

Also if you go the end of Duvall there is an island...sunset key. Great restauarant over there right on the water. You can take a ferry over there as long as you have a reservation.
