Hi I have questions for any current or previous Ferrari techs.

I was recently offered a position as a tech at a dealership and not yet sure if this is the right move for me.

What kind of hours could be expected? How are the services? What kind of repairs have you been seeing come in recently? How does warranty pay?

Thank you! I will update with more questions as they come!

I think these are questions you should be asking the place that offered you the position.

You can't expect 'truth' from Employers like these....there's a reason the position is EMPTY in the first place.

Is the position "flat rate" or hourly? Hours are based upon customer volume. Low volume...low hours. Majority of work......warranty. Most customers head for qualified independents when warranty runs out.

My advice.....if its flat rate.......walk away, unless your looking for job experience. If you have time in the saddle...independent shops will bring you more money and better experience based on the quality, amount and challenges offered. You become a better all around mechanic.

That is an interesting point of view, and revealing as well.
