Advice needed on strange 360 problem

I turned the knob under the front hood to disconnect battery power while the car sat for two weeks, waiting for the rear grill to get powder coated. Last night I turn the power back on, reset the radio, the car runs perfectly and everything works perfectly except: no cold air from the A/C. I get vents, hot air, temp changes, everything else. I checked the A/C fuse with an ohmmeter and swapped out the A/C relay. Can hear a loud click from the engine compartment when I turn on the compressor (tells me that it's getting the signal).......but no cold air. What on earth could have happened???
