Been lurking a while, tried the search, but didn't find specifically what I'm looking for... so help? :)

I want at a 360 spider. There's tons of them out there. From what I've gathered, most people want F1, red/tan, and full options.

What I'm wanting to learn is the difference in value for a used (02 to 04) car for these various options.

    F1 vs. std.
    Shields
    Rear Challenge Grille
    Leather roll bars
    Painted calipers
    Daytona Power Seats

I've found a "stripped" down car, very low mileage, all the records, but it lacks all of the above and is std. transmission. It's also not red...

Resale is of some concern, but passion comes first, as resale is a long time out (I tend to keep cars)

I like the color. I like the low miles. Extra features are nice, but not essential. I'm just trying to compare values. With most of these extras, I'm assuming I could add (no doubt at considerable cost) them later?

    Thanks all!

Hello, The options are a factor in both resale and enjoyment. I have a 360 coupe. I personally think the challenge grills break up the body color nice. The badge and calipers also offer some contrast. Its my opinion most would prefer the leather package for appearance and resale. All of these upgrades will add to the overall value and will come back to you in resale. The trans question is harder to address. I like the manual 6 speed. I have only driven the f430 paddles, but understand the paddles on the 360 were not as sure and crisp!. If I were shopping again, I would choose the powered daytona seats, calipers, badges & grills all over again. Best of luck to you.
