My 996 has been for sale for a while now with no luck. I am buying a 360. Does anyone know if Champion or Braman sell cars on consignment? And does anyone have experience with this? What is normal fee/% ? Does anyone know of an independent dealer who would sell on consignment? Thanks for the help.

Hey, maybe RobertM would be intersted in it. He has been looking to buy another car that he could take the family in!! There may also be someone else here looking for an extra car. If not, good luck with the consignment thing.

I don't know if the big dealers do a consignment deal unless you have a good relationship with them. The boutique used car dealers may be willing to do a consignment, though. IMO, you should NOT give your title to anyone consigning your car until they have it sold, and you are picking up the money for the car. As for pricing, some dealers will let you agree on a price and anything above that the dealer keeps, others may want a percentage of 5-15% If all else fails, and you want to dump it, I can arrange to have it brought to the dealer auto auction.

Just make sure your pricing expectations are 'in line' with the marketplace right now. If not, you will be wasting your time trying to sell. Let's just say, it's not a good time to be a seller.

Have you tried with FerrariAds.com: it does not cost you anything and the exposure is pretty good.
What is the asking price anyway?

If it has not sold it is because your price is too high.
    I have a 2000 I cannot get $20,000 for. A consignment. Go figure.

Might be a good idea to talk to where-ever you are buying the 360 from. We take cars in trade when we sell a car. Anything I can interest you in :)
