Hi all. I hope you can help me figure out the best way to proceed. I have always wanted to fly. Currently I am married with 2 children and little disposable income. What is the best way to get a pilot's license? I think that I would even like to fly for a living. Is there a way to be trained "on the job?" Or do airlines (and other companies with planes) require their pilots to be pre-certified?

    Thanks in advance.

I hope you read my post on the Welcome thread - a search of some of the older threads on this site would be helpful - good luck.

Yes, I saw your reply. Thanks. I'll just stick it out and save up for my discovery flight and take it from there.
