    Congrats, you’ll love it!
Word of advice, since you said it’s your first Ferrari and putting on snow tires, the performance of the 812 is insane...it’s a beast....take it easy for awhile...like really really easy. :)

Absolutely. I'll be taking it easy anyway while I get it broken in, this just adds another reason to tread lightly...

    Congrats!

Can anyone explain what on Earth the "advanced front driving camera" option is?

wishing you health and happiness in your new 812. I am thinking about it. I saw a used TdF with yellow calipers for sale a bit ago and that really got me interested.

Congratulations! May I suggest they perform an alignment on the car before you take delivery. Also, to echo the others, use the lowest setting on the Manettino in the winter (wet mode) to learn the car and an occasional visit to sport mode and try to leave race mode for the warm weather.

Thanks. I absolutely plan to stay in Wet mode the vast majority of time until the summer tires go back on. By then the car should be broken in, and I should be dialed in to steering and brakes, so that both the car and I are ready to get a little more adventurous.

I think thats a sensible idea, its a very well sorted car and not going to bite you if you are thoughtful with your inputs and also keep it in the right mode, but its still a lot of power and don’t let it give you a false sense of security. See the video of the guy on the bridge in London- he turns it all off and then tries a full throttle acceleration and he just cant manage to control it in a somewhat tight space. You are making a wise move with the winter tires. That’s really the most important thing.
