You are being ripped off.. Look on gumtree you will find very professional and cheap Ferrari mechanics that specialise in rare cars like your "one and only V8 HOS". They will make you feel like a Rock Star ,as you should be with a "special" car like yours.
Gary, Firstly, it's not mine yet, almost but not yet. Secondly, Dino 2 seaters were only V6 not V8. You must be thinking of the Dino 308GT4.

Guys and Gals, bad news, my master tech, Makmoud Singh Phat Kow called me this afternoon to tell me he had completed the PPI for me. He said we should meet at the local kebab shop to go over the results. I immediately knew it would be bad news. Whilst we had a kebab with extra curry, humurous and taboolee with a green tea he told me the shocking news..... it is not a matching numbers car. You all know how devasting hearing news like that is. It's like finding out your 360 with the red carpets is a UK import and you can only get $25K for it not $50K. I phoned the hipster salesman and told him the deal was off. He asked me not to be so hasty with my decision as he would have someone he knows to engrave matching numbers for me all over the chassis, gear box and engine. I thought about this for what seemed like an eternity, it was actually 5 minutes. I told him no, I will pass on this fine example. He then said he could see I was quite astute and told me has a friend in real estate who has a bargain that has just been listed at Bennelong Point. I will be meeting with him tomorrow morning. Looks like I will be sinking my money into real estate now. I will resume my quest to add a second Ferrari to my stable after the real estate deal. I will keep you all posted when that happens. Dreadfull news Frosty,I've also decided not to complete on the Gallo,V8 SWB version. The vendor wanted me to add $20K to the deal including my 308GT4 with a pink slip,full rego and Shannons comprehensive insurance. I advised the vendor I have an issue with the insurance companies of Australia for the next couple of years and can't complete his request. He advised me to do something that involved sex and travel.
Whoa Frosty your comments about Red Carpets really disturbs me. My 355 has red carpets. Are you saying it could be imported and worse still that it's been on a Boat? I would be devistated if this were the case. Also don't be too hasty burning your cash on Realestate especially on the harbour. You will make much more cash on the car Bro. Matching numbers are not an issue. If you feel that they are , just hand scribe the new number on top of the cam covers or anywhere there is paint. Don't forget to put a line through the old number with a crayon , texta or scriber. If you neglect to do this you will cause confusion to potential buyers when you list it on gumtree at a later date to make a fortune....I beg you to reconsider as you will be walking away from the deal of a lifetime. I was going to try and do you over medium rare as I told you on this deal but realised I would have to sleep at night.......Do you really think my car is imported with the red carpets ?
