    My car!
    I drive the car.
I do the work on the car.
I drive the car to the SLC drives from Idaho.
I have driven the car to LA for the LA drives.
Ask away- I am confident in my work. The car is solid and I have the paperwork to prove it.

Car is on a salvage title due to flood- lower fenders in front of the wheels have STEEL vents welded in- given the title situation and the expense to bring the car back to stock I can't imagine it's more than a $12K car. The auction house says no books or tools and they hope to "Find" the service history.

    Really?? Good for you!!

Tell us more about it. What have you done to it? How long have you had it?

As a suggestion, a quick detail of the engine bay would go a LONG way toward making the car look better in the photos. It may be too late, but it would definitely help.

Kind of odd that you would pipe in in the LAST HOUR of a 10 day auction- not on ebay mind you- but at "Red Gecko"... Why on earth would you cut those vents into the side of the car??

Both the GT4 and the Mondial look like they have been sitting around for a while unloved- never the best situation for a Ferrari. Best of luck to the new owners.

    agree.

At least here in Ga if its a pre 1985, you dont have to have a Title to register it. That would be one way to buy it to drive for fun, and not worry about resale, and no red tape with Inspections and State DMV.

I do like the blue. 2v cars all need valve jobs by now. Did not see what the car has had done, but those sodium filled valves in the old cars have cooled me off as a buyer for these beaters.

The car had what appeared to be brake vents cut into the rear quarters- Why I have no idea-

The auction house was the kind that does minor league estate sales- Moms dishes and such- pictures were lousy- guys provided no info- just a total crapshoot- i would guess with commission it was a $13K car- cheap enough to have a ton of fun but there are 415K Gt4s without body mods and without history of being underwater- I think the Gt4 Ed Waterman has in FL could be had for well, well under $20K- needs paint and interior work but runs ridiculously strong-

Just the fact that the two cars were pictured all dirty by a low end auction house convinced me that there was a pretty high chance of several undisclosed "issues".
