Definitely a BAT car... they love these low mileage time capsules!

Back in the day, I had a '77 Firebird, 5.7 liter "performance" engine, 4 bbl carburetor and faux dual exhausts. It made SAE 170 net BHP. That was just about the depths of Detroit's inability to create output while complying with smog requirements. And it really hesitated on acceleration.
  6. Mike:

You really know how to hurt a guy!!! I think you are secretly checking my profile and listing cars accordingly, LOL.

Not only do I have a couple of Ferraris, but I am also passionate about Firebirds (have: '84 Trans Am, two '88 Trans Am GTAs, '91 Firebird and '94 Firebird).

Seriously, as I have said before, the quality of car you present speaks to and of you as well. Thank you and good luck with the sale.

Ah the memories. I had two of these but both were 6sp. Great car for its time. Lots of torque and easy to mod. Lower it and put some wider wheels on it and she was good to go as is and would stomp the crap out of cobras. GLWS!

Had a laugh, I'm tempted to see if 6 drinks will in fact turn that Trans Am into a cavallino. Love the title, GLWS

yeah....this might do it, and I mean might.
Incredibly clean car. Is that only 3600 miles? I would think the right venue would at least get in the 60s, but what do I know.

  11. Uhm....okay, not to derail the thread entirely. And certainly not to insult the owner of the car presented. 1987 Pontiac Trans Am GTA with a Testarossa -style body kit...........

I have two 1988 Trans Am GTAs and a 1990 Testarossa. As manufactured, the cars are great and a lot of fun in their own right. To try to merge the two,......I don't think 6 drinks is enough.
