    Everyone, I have been asked by lots of people attending the show to organize an impromptu, post car show rally from Kurt's to Flashback Motorworks for a tour of the facility. There will be refreshments and such there. Might as well go for a drive after the show and check out Flashback while we have all the cars out! The weather will be absolutely perfect. Lets do it! For those who have not seen the facility yet, you are REALLY in for a treat! Lets have a rally!

    Here's the directions from Kurt's to Flashback courtesy of MapQuest, and I agree with the recommended route:

    1: Start out going East on RIVER GREEN PKWY toward PEACHTREE INDUSTRIAL BLVD NW. Continue to follow RIVER GREEN PKWY.

    2: Turn LEFT onto PEACHTREE INDUSTRIAL BLVD NW.

    3: Turn LEFT onto DULUTH HWY NW/GA-120. Continue to follow GA-120.

    4: Turn RIGHT onto MEDLOCK BRIDGE RD/GA-141 N/PEACHTREE PKWY. Continue to follow GA-141 N.

    5: Turn RIGHT onto ATLANTA HWY/GA-9.

    6: Turn RIGHT onto PENDLEY RD.

    7: End at 2250 PENDLEY RD CUMMING GA

    FYI, for a much better route , after leaving Kurt's: 1) turn left on River Green Pkwy; 2) then left onto Peachtree Ind. Blvd.; 3)then left onto Ga120; 4) turn right onto Boyles Road which will change names to Old Atlanta Road after you cross McGinnis Ferry Road; 5) Stay on Old Atlanta Road all the way to Pendley Road; 6) turn left onto Pendley Road and Flashback is on your left just past the stop sign. I live about two miles from Flashback and drive this route 5 days a week and assure you it is the better route to take. With this route you avoid the traffic of 141 and John's Creek as well as the traffic at the intersection of Ga141 and Ga400 which often backs up even on Saturdays.

    For those of you that are interested, after the tour of Flashback everyone is welcome to come over to my house for a drink,a dip in the pool and/or spa and to burn some meat on the grill. If you are so inclined, be sure you pack your swimsuit and a towel in your car before you go to the show Saturday morning. We can stop by Kroger after we leave Flashback to pick up some steaks, accessories and BEER...or the poison of your choice. My house is only about 3 miles from Flashback and it would be a fun way to complete the day. For those of you that plan to come over, please let me know sometime during the car show so I can call my wife and give her a rough headcount. Or, you can call me on my cell at 770.317.8836.

    Hi Mark, yes anyone is invited to come back to Flashback Motorworks after the car show. We will take a tour of the facility, have some refreshements take some pictures, then we are headed from Flashback over to Frank Parkers house for BBQ/Pool party! What a great day it will be!

    I saw that route on the map and agree that it is probably the better alternative.

    Hi Jeff, yes I have arranged to have the shop opened for us. They will also have refreshments there for us as well!

    Mark, the show at Kurts starts at 11:00 and runs to about 3:00. Then we will rally over to Flashback about 3:30-4:00. The tour will take about 1 hour, then we are off to The Parker Estate for a BBQ.
