My OEM right side radiator has started to leak where the plastic top manifold (for lack of a better term) is fitted to the core. Have any of you 355 owners replaced the OEM unit with the after market all Aluminum units. I see the ones manufactured in China by Winner Spares are available for about 1/3 the cost of the OEM. And as I understand it the all aluminum units are better because the common failure point where the top manifold is clamped to the core is eliminated?

    Thanks for your feed back

I bought a set from CSF (at Fabspeed) and they do work well. Not cheap though but should last a long time due to the all aluminum construction

I've seen the Winner ones in person and they look very nice. Made in Taiwan I believe which is not China (yet). I think @Tarek307 has some experience here as well. When my rads go I'm buying the Winners.

No experience with Winners, but I installed Saldana rads about 10 years ago after stocks failed. One of the Saldanas started leaking after about 8 years of use and 30k miles. Asked about warranty replacement, they said no. Maybe oem is better long term somehow? The saldanas definitely kept my coolant temps a lot lower than stock.

Thanks a bunch for the information on a replacement radiator. I ended up going with a CSF Aluminum one # CSF7205. It was a plug and play job. I did not get a chance to use it in anger yet as the Canadian winter set in shortly after installation and a short test drive. Cost delivered to my door CAD $1,018.
I still have the original radiator. Upon inspection after removal I found the upper plastic tank is cracked. If any one knows if it can be repaired or can use it let me know.

The RH unit on mine failed exactly at the same spot and I replaced both with a set from Cool Experts in the UK. Very pleased with the quality and the end tanks seem beefier than on some other aftermarket units such as the CSF's.

I paid £450 to Winner, delivered, for both sides, so they are a little more than a quarter of the OEM price here in the UK. Haven't fitted them yet, but they look to be of good quality.

This may be a dumb question but... Why can't you rebuild these radiators?

You can rebuild the core, if the end tanks are cracked you need to replace as they are plastic.
