After applying a pair of excellent shields with the pre-adhesive tape, one fell off the vehicle in hot weather. Can anyone recommend a safe cleaner for the adhesive left on the vehicle, and then an epoxy that won't damage the vehicle.

    Thank you, Ken

+1. I recommend it because Griots Garage sells it. They sell it in a spray can. I also use it to clean off bug and tar crud.

edit: I went to look for the shortcut to the 3m product to post it for you and I see Griots now has thier own product. I'll have to give it a try too! If Griots sells it, its good enough for me. (In case you didn't notice, I'm a big fan)

    Griots sells it here:

    Ken,
Can you tell use what brand type tape, or the seller of the shields? Would be a good "watch out" for others to be careful of. I have been using the Yoshi shields, and wow, that stuff ain't coming off except when you want to! ;)
