    So, life imitates art...black James Bond Aston Martin was being driven to the set of Quantum of Solace, went off road in heavy rain, and down into the lake. Here is a picture of it being fished out...

    Judging by the level of damage to the car and the height of the road in-comparison to the water, the drop-off of the road, etc. I'm VERY surprised the driver survived.

    250k I would've thought the price would be much higher for one off movie cars. Especially since they aren't massively produced.

    It's a DBS so it's not that they can't buy another one, but Aston only provided them with one.

    is there some kind of a curse related to bond's cars? seems there was another accident involving the aston today, sounds like this one's a little more serious, hopefully the driver pulls through.

    That is the same picture that I posted above; MSNBC must have reposted it again for some reason.

    I agree that is a miracle that the driver lived through it. I bet that they drive them around SLOWLY on the transporter between locations from now on.

    Well there goes his job. Are those even for sale yet? I know someone whose interested in one. Poor car. At least the driver wasn't injured.
