I downloaded it new AIM and it f'in sucks as$. Does anyone have a link or something to the old one? Thanks in advance...
Trillian sucks! Gaim: http://gaim.sourceforge.net Why to get gaim: you can talk while idle, talk while away, talk while invisible, give aliases to buddies, have the toaster popups configured however you want, have multiple conversations in 1 window, easily log conversations, automatically reconnect, have semi-transparent windows, and use all of your MSN, AIM, Yahoo, you name it accounts in one program, with a much prettier and easier to understand design and structure than either AIM or Trillian. Did you remove your old one? I didn't and still have the old one on my machine. Check your computer for it if you didn't manually uninstall. It should still be there. Not diggin' it much either.
Ok, so why does Trillain suck again? Anyone using Meetro yet? Just started hearing about it out here in California.....
That's great, I downloaded it and it's currently running but I have no idea how to mess with the theme/interface to make it transparent or even monkey with the colors...
Ok ok it doesn't suck, I was exaggerating. But still not as good as gaim. By the toaster thing I meant the little red box in the bottom left corner of the screenshot I posted. And the Trillian interface is UGLY - look how much smoother Gaim's is (screenshot) And what about talking while away/idle Edit: CMY - After you set up your google talk with Gaim (http://www.google.com/support/talk/bin/answer.py?answer=24073), you're on my buddy list so just send me a message some time and I'll help you.
I don't use them, so I don't know if they are even an option on Trillian. I am on line 90% of the time to deal with work related issues. Most of my company and other dealerships are on line, and I don't need to hide cause you dissed me in English 101. WErd?
Wait, I didn't follow that English 101 part. I'm not trying to pick a fight or be annoying, sorry if it sounded like that. If I remember correctly you're a nice guy from what I've seen. Anyway one more Edit: Gaim was originally made for Linux/Unix so it does take a little more configuration but at least to me that's fun and it's not too bad.

Yeah, the girl that showed it to me had no one near her either....Not sure if its worth all the hassle for what I use IM for.... Oh, and Not saying anything against you, just saying I don't need to hide from anyone online, or play games(i.e.-be idle and type). And since you were born in 87 and I remember that year, i am saying werd. Werd? Not dissing you, I just don't see how that is so much better then a system that is very stable such as Trillian. Ohhh now I see, no reason to pretend your away or idle when you're actually there. Ok that makes sense now. There are a few people from my highschool who have my screenname but who I don't enjoy talking to... they keep talking to me though, so I use this feature quite a bit! Hmm. well. that's not the version of Trillian my friend had earlier. However! Muaha, it is clear they copied off of Gaim's style, since Gaim has looked like that forever and I remember Trillian looking green and blue. Or maybe my friend just had a weird theme and I'm making a fool of myself. I really need to go to bed.
