Can any of the model makers on here recommend some air-brushes. I'm not wanting to spend to much, but i want one that is off decent quality and will produce a good finish. Any advice is welcome, as i really don't have any experience with them..

    Thanks.

I don't personally airbrush models, but I used to airbrush.
Personally I wouldn't touch anything that's not gravity fed. It's going to make your life a hell of a lot easier.

    I like Badger products myself.

The majority of my built models are F1 versions. Those small 1/43 models require very fine coats of paint. Therefore an airbrush for me is a necessity.

However I also use some automotive paints in spray-cans sometimes.
My recommendation, do not buy a cheap airbrush, you be sorry afterwards.

Check out Iwatas, Eclipse and Revolution are both fine and relatively cheap models.
Its hard to make a recommendation when you don't know what you going to be using it for.
Also, check www.dixieart.com, they are great supplier.

Cheap, relatively bulletproof, parts available everywhere, easy to use, available w/ different size tips and needles: Badger 150.

What kind of set-up do you currently use? I have been following your " unique Formula One Schumacher collection" thread since it started, and have been amazed and inspired by your build's..

    Hello Chicko,

So you are also an interested fan by following my Schumi thread.
    Very much appreciated!

I use two air-brush guns, “Infinity” and “Evolution-Silverline”.
Both are made by a German manufacture, Harder & Steenbeck.
Those are widely spread throughout Europe.
There are many good airbrush guns available. I just happen to buy those two,
because they were raided very highly by some airbrush gurus, in an airbrush forum.

Many thanks, i will check this brand out.

Yes its true, i'm a big fan, and always astounded by the quality of the work. Its also great to see many many models from particular races which i have attended in person. I would like to build a collection of these cars myself.
