I cannot see the part to dismantle.
Can you also remove the side wall vertical carpet?
And take a picture really normal to the car axis?

Found it but wow! What a nightmare to take out got the bottom screw to come out but top screw is buried behind plastic blower box. Do I need a special tool or to remove plastic box to get to screw?

That's actually what I ended up using and worked👍 Not to sure if I should attempt to rebuild it by changing out diodes or just buy a new part all together. I hope it goes in easily dreading getting that top screw back in! Lol

We'll done then!!! Top screw was a real pain in the neck!!! I kind of put it back but not really forked it.
You can try changing the MOSFET, put back into position WITHOUT bolts and try.
Then if fail, change it completely.
Did you also check the Aircon command panel is ok? That the rotaries knobs are really changing the out resistance? I have checked mine and record the values. I can post if needed when I am back home in a couple of weeks.

Thank you! Thanks for everyone's help couldn't have done it with out the F-chat team;) I did not check the aircon command panel, I should do that. My main issue with my car was that warm air would always corm out of the vents at all times when AC was off. No matter what I did with the buttons being off warm air continued to comes out, even when parked and not moving. The 1/2/3 setting all worked. Hopefully this will be the fix.

I would be surprised the resistor is blown up. It looks like it was the original soldering of one the MOSFET legs that went over it. You can still change it for the cost of it......
    Anything else looks weird?

Not sure what part this is but it looks tan with the brown stripes on it in the middle has a burn spot on it which indicates it's burnt out.

That's a 220 ohm resistor, 5% tolerance, looks like 1/2 watt. It's probably ok, but as it only costs a few cents go ahead and replace it!

resistor is a few cents. Worth changing just in case. I doubt it is the only issue.
I would also change the Mosfet that are 1$ ish each.

Or order all, change only the resistor, test, see if that works. If it does, send the mosfets back or to the next Ferrari owner with the same problem.

If KO, change also the Mosfets.

If still KO, it could be on the dashboard, the potentiometer that send the fan speed that has an issue. A freiend of mine had this issue and changed it (a PAIN to find the good one...)

Oh oh:( I hope not. I ended up buying a new unit from euro spares for $250 and will still rebuild my old one Incase someone needs one or just to have a spare. I will get it in a week or so from Italy. Where is the potentiometer located? On the AC control panel

The fan speed potentiometer on the AC panel.

You have to remove the panel and chek two pins in the back connector. When you rotate the potentiometer (this is the wrong word as it is a switch that route through different resistors on the PCB), the resistance change (easy to check with an ohmeter).
If it does not, it means you have an issue with that switch.
And that the DACIA is not the issue.....

    Excellent!!!!
Are you still going to try to fix the old part? Just changing resistors and MOSFETs?
    Or you gave up?

Thank you! Yes problem was the piece. AC works great, all levels blow from minimal to strong and stops completely when turned to 0 with no heat at all leaking out from vents👍
