    Hello all. Yep, I just purchased a 1999 355 F1 Spyder. Going over it with a fine tooth comb. One question, is there supposed to be an a/c filter in the intake under the front trunk? I can look down inside there and see the fan cage. Just thinking, shouldn't there be something else there like a baffle, filter or something?

    No.

    I fitted one, but I don't know if it's a good idea. I don't know if the fan is designed to suck air through the filter. These old fans draw enough current as it is.
