I wanted to share with all of you the views that I get to see every day. I have been a fan of air-cooled 911's since I was a kid and I've had the good fortune of owning a few as well. For the next few months I will be helping out a friend of mine at his pre-owned Porsche showroom. I spend most of my time searching the country for the right inventory but I'm helping with sales as well. If you love 3.2 Carreras, 964's and 993's as much as I do then being in this place is like being a kid in a candy store! Every day is like sensory overload. Enjoy! :)

    Dale,

Knowing me, the car won't be around by then. Then again, stranger things have happened. I'll definitely let you know if I still have it then. It will just have a few thousand more miles on it by then. :)

Yep. Two actually. One is a standard 996 Coupe and the other one is a 2004 GT3, which is a pretty spectacular car. I'm a sucker for the 993's though. I can't get enough of that shape.

I'll post more pics as our inventory changes over. We're constantly adding and subtracting so it should be interesting.

Can you include the name of the place or a phone number? Or is that not ok since they're not a sponsor?

No offense taken. Yes, most of them are pretty standard but there are a few that are somewhat special. For example, the Guards Red '96 Coupe has the factory M030 Sport Suspension, Factory Sports Seats, Limited Slip, and only 19k miles. They're rather desirable options in this realm. The selection of truly clean (i.e. no body work, accident history, full repaints, stories, etc) air-cooled 911's is dwindling. In fact, only about 1 in 30 993's has completely original paint. Air-cooled 911's are some of the most beloved sports cars ever produced and since they're no longer made, it makes a collection like this special regardless of their seemingly standard specifications. Needless to say, I've been enjoying myself lately. :)

Gus, just wondering, how much does a nice 993 hardtop or targa go for anyway (a range would be fine) I am just curious...I really love the 993 body style, and looking at it in silver makes me salivate.

    Omar I think you're better off looking for a 94 964 instead of a 993 ;)

    Omar,

The values for nice, clean, low-mileage 993 models have strengthened in recent months. You're probably looking in the $40k - $50k range for something of the caliber that we stock.
