    Texas!
I hope you guys and gals will not mind a short question. I have to fly my daughter from Berlin to Paris on 11/29, and I can't believe the airfare quotes that I'm getting for a less than 2 hour flight. All the direct flights are roughly $800+ US.

What's the deal? Do the French charge a high entry fee to flights coming from Germany? Isn't there a discount airline that flys between these two cities, or am I just squat out of luck?

    Thanks in advance, Dale

You may now return to your regular bonking...

    Hi Dale,

Flying within Europe with the "established" commercial airlines is definitely not cheap. But there are also some "low fare" airlines. Maybe the German guys on this board can give you more information about those cheap flights within Germany. I found some cheaper flights for you from Berlin to Paris on Easyjet.com.

Once again, thanks for the Easyjet tip. Talk about a difference! Berlin to Paris is 60 Euros versus 600!

    You are welcome!
Just remember that the sooner you book the flight the cheaper.

    Good luck.

Enjoy Berlin and Paris! Both cities worth staying a bit longer.
