    Just happened yesterday - spotter Matt Cochran happened to be there so this has some actual footage.

    First time I've seen one of these where they didn't want to dump fuel. Landed with 130,000+ pounds. I assume when you haven't gained much altitude you just want to get it back on the ground ASAP?

    Full Name:

    777-300ER
    MTW = 775 kips
    MLW = 554 kips
    MZFW = 524 kips
    Usable Fuel = 320 kips

    So yeah, they were way over max landing weight. There are established inspections for such an occurrence.
