    What is the approximate cost to ship a car by air from the US (SLC, Utah) to Amsterdam? I am looking for information on a shipper that can do this. Any recommendations?

    I don't have personal experience, but from what I've read here it will probably
    be in the $10,000 range. Do a search of the forums and you'll find this has
    been discussed before.

    The customer is trying to decide if he wants to drive the car in the US for a few months and then air freight it home in time for some good driving weather, or ship it now by boat and still have it in his home country with some good weather left. It takes about 6 weeks by boat. We have an event he would like to attend here in June.

    The cost is approx. $11,000 to fly from L.A. to Amsterdam. For that price he decided to ship the car by boat and is looking at renting a car for the event.

    From Utah to the UK it is about $4,500 to 5,000 and getting dearer all the time.
