Hey Everyone..... The pulley on the end of the camshaft that drives the air pump on my '83 QV isn't spinning. From previous post it apears that the shear pins have sheared. I will need to get it smogged in another year, so I eventually need to get it working. Has anyone here delt with R&R'ing the camshaft pulley, and/or replacing the shear pins?

There is a tool that will allow you to remove the shear pin without removing the cam. Or you can make one - it lookslike the type of tool that is used to remove links from a motorcycle rear chain. If I remember correctly, you will need to remove the cam cover and the left-most cam retainer cap to get to it. FYI, my '83 did not have a shear pin and when I decided to remove the drive end, I had to cut it off.
