I am trying to get my 308 GTSi ready to pass CA emisions and found out that my Air Pump is seized up. Has anyone tried to rebuild these pumps? It is a Delco# 250-154, GM discontinued the pump last year. If not rebuildable, does anyone know where I can get a new/remanufactured pump? Also need Cat. Converters.
    Thanks,
    Randy

I just took mine apart and cleaned it, and it seems to work fine. It was jammed up from being diconnected for years.

(This is probably getting too dated, but) Try calling your local auto parts chain stores and ask if they can get airpumps from a vendor named AirCardone. Also try searching on that name ("AirCardone") here and at the old site -- should get you the threads for the AirCardone part number and some other possible cross-application fitments.

It's not an exotic airpump, and although GM/Delco has bailed out, there should still be a 2nd tier of suppliers (at a cost that would be a better value than rebuilding yourself).

T Rutlands has brand new pumps for about $100 bucks. I'm sure they are available else where

I crossed the GM#7817815 for the 308 to a NAPA 51-112. I paid $60 for it a couple of months ago. I don't have the original shroud but it mounted just fine. I had to make a thingy to mate the hose that goes to the diverter. I hope this helps.

Thanks guys....So I did some investigation at the Chevy and found out the the 78' Camaro has the exact same air pump. I went to Autozone and picked up a remanufactured unit for $49. It mounted up perfectly!!! Even the casting numbers are the same. Got to love this chat group!!! You guys are AWESOME!!!!
