After a refill in May, the airco has starting to leak. It looks like the dripp is coming from the little valve next to the air intake. Is this an pressure releaf valve or is it just busted and needs to be repaced?! Anyone? It is the aluminium part with 4 hoses attachted, one with the filling nipple... That is the expansion valve. Not hard to replace, but you need a shop with proper AC equipment. http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?products_id=202619
Yes, that`s the one! Will it stop leaking when the pressure is back to normal? I feel them ****ers overfilled my system... Thanks for the fast reply. Regards, Ben.
Ben, I suggest you take it back to the ****ers that overfilled it and get them to check it again. The only way to diagnose an A/C system is with the correct gauges. If you dont have any, then take it to someone who can check it for you. I dont really understand your question mate, is it A/C gas leaking from there? Perhaps an oring is leaking there?? It wont stop leaking mate. If its leaking there, then that will eventually leak all the gas out of the system.
