    On my 308QV the air-conditioning air diffusers at the bottom of the dash have a weird wire mesh installed in place of fins. I'm replacing them with diffusers that have the fins. My question is; there are 2 vertical knurled rings, one on each side of the fins. The part is symmetrical and can be installed 2 ways. According to the diagram in the manual the left ring controls the horizontal fins and the right ring controls the flow. Is this the correct orientation? Are they both the same or mirrored?
    A fine point but the manual is instructions for use and not assembly, I just want to be sure. If i'm going to install them might as well be the same as the factory.

    They are the same, but you install them mirrored.
    BTW. The first thing I did to my first Iphone, was switching that annoying native Apple picture format from HEIC to jpg, so that future pictures are automatically saved in jpg. In your post, you see why.

    Yes I was lazy and did not change the picture format this time.
