hey guys i dont know if you can help out or give me info about this. im trying to get a ticket from minneapolis to detroit and they usually run about 300 - 350 but i need to get there in 2 weeks and the prices are at about 600 - 1000 bucks. does anyone know if they will lower the prices the day before the flight or how that might work . id rather drive for 300 bucks than fly for 1000.

Ticket prices go up not down as you get closer to the departure date. Better get the car warmed up. Mpls to Detroit is a busy market.

Get used to those prices; in a couple of weeks they will look cheap. Fuel goes up for you, its worse for the airlines.
