I'm more into paintball. I played airsoft a few days ago and found it to be less fun than paintball.

    Whats with the new name?

Paintball is more my speed. Airsoft is a ton of fun, but paintball is just above and beyond.

I'm a fan of airsoft. Obviously the big hold is the honor system, but if everyone is trustworthy I like it more. Better selection of weapons, cheaper, hurts less, and makes way less mess.

I was on a paint ball team in college. Still have two of my old guns too I think. One was a SMG and fun as heck. Just loved that full auto. But I dont think they make it anymore.

    What new name? ;)

Another thing i like about paintball is that it hurts. Its an incentive not to get shot. Its hard to explain but you've always got to be on your toes. Then again, i don't play airsoft, so maybe its the same.

My son had an airsoft pellet surgically removed from his ear. He was near some kids playing with these supposedly 'safe' pellet guns and one ricochetted and embedded in his ear canal next to the ear drum...

I had 10 7th graders at our house overnight for my son's 13th birthday. Airsoft party, 10 kids, unlimited ammo. They were mostly in the woods, but those friggin pellets are everywhere. We were strict on the glasses, but I never thought of one in the ear.

It was a one-in-a-billion situation. I wish he had picked lottery numbers instead. The odd thing was he wasn't part of the group playing with the gun, just an innocent bystander.

I have a Marui P-90, used to play frequently, but haven't played in a while. I've been meaning to pick up a Tanaka Luger, polished, brown grip, 6in barrel.

BTW, even if you wear vision correction glasses, wear some goggles over them.

I'm hoping to pick up a glock with the metal slide and a few internal upgrades in a few months. I've got some buddies who are also interested. We'd have to pick up some AEG's and head out into the forest (of which there is quite a bit in my area). I'd probably want to wear a mask, or at least enough soft protection on the head and decent eyewear.
