OK, lets get started: AL = Justin Verlander. Why? He is about to win the Triple Crown in pitching, carries a ridiculous record of 22-5 and has literally delivered the Tigers into the postseason almost by himself. Yes, Cabrera has been awesome too, but no one has carried a team like Verlander has this season.................and he's a pitcher! NL = Ryan Braun. Why? Well, for one, the Brew Crew are tops in the NL Central and have been playing better second half of the season baseball than any team out there. Braun's stats are .331/27/96 with 31 stolen bags. He is also great in the outfield as well. One of the best players in the game right now. His teammate, Prince Fielder is another top star that hits when it counts. But, Braun is a far better player overall. Matt Kemp would have to be my 2nd choice right behind Braun. His stats are almost equal to Braun's, but the problem with Kemp is that he is playing for a discombobulated organization that will miss the post season this year. Who are your picks?
