This is just a directional thread to help someone else in future. Alarm on 5.2 motronic It is possible to use FOB to open car and disarm while accidentally triggering "danger help feature" that turns on sirens and flashes lights. You can still start the car and drive it way because the FOB will arm and disarm the alarm but you can't stop the danger help flashing siren feature so you will drive down the street like a police car flashing lights and siren. The feature is turned "on" by sustained 3 second FOB fingering and turned off "ONLY" by sustained 3 second FOB fingering. Disconnecting battery will not turn this off. This feature will not time itself off after at least 7 minutes because that's how long it took me to figure it out.
