I have 11 brand new OEM Bosch sirens with Ferrari programming that I'm selling for only $340 each. Get one while they last.

If your red LED immobilizer light stays lit when the car is running or your car is blowing the anti-theft fuse, you have a bad siren. Over time, the battery in the siren fails and destroys the circuit board inside. Replacing the siren should give the system another 20 years of life.

These sirens are new OEM Bosch sirens that have been reprogrammed to include the original Ferrari compatible data. They will behave identical to the dealer part for a fraction of the cost.

Compare to Ferrari part number 177148 which is $1,100 right now at dealer prices.

Do these use the original style battery or a modern battery?

They’re OEM with a recent manufacture date. Whether Bosch changed anything with the battery design I don’t know. The originals lasted ~20 years so it doesn’t seem worthwhile to mess with and potentially create some other problem. If you swapped in a Duracel rechargeable battery (or something else), why would anyone think that would last any longer? I’ve seen people cut them open and hang a different battery off the side. You’re choice whether to do that but I wouldn’t if it were my car.

If you wanted me to install a different battery in the siren before I ship it I’m happy to do so, but what do you think will last longer than 20 years? I’m not opposed to offering an “upgraded battery” version, but what does that mean?
