I own a 2001 360, and the other night i took it out for the 1st time in about a month or so and i parked it at the valet. When it was armed (from what i remember the valet armed it) it made a number of beeps (i've never heard it beep like that before and i wasn't even sure if it was my car or not) and now the alarm does not beep when i arm and disarm it and the alarm light on the dash is lit solid all the time the car is running. I looked through the owners manual but could not find anything.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this????

    Thanks in advance

    Marc

I've got a 99 355. It's the alarm battery (most likely dead). The good news is that the car will still prevent anyone from stealing it but it just won't sound the alarm.

There is a very detailed thread in the 360 section about how to replace the batteries in the alarm module.

If you search under alarms or 360 alarm you should find it.

It was very complete with pictures and full instructions.

There is an FChat member, Bruce Wellington, who is the only one who has the batteries for theses and they are around $40.00 each. There are two.
